The University of Niš, Faculty of Electronic Engineering in Niš (the Faculty, further in the text) admits 75 (seventy five) self-financed students in the first enrollment term to the doctoral academic studies (in Serbian or English language) for the 2025/2026 academic year in accordance with the decision of the Senate of the University of Niš (number 816-01-1/25-060 of 24 February 2025), for the academic title of Doctor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computing.

Doctoral academic studies are organized within the study program Electrical Engineering and Computing in the following scientific fields: Electrical power engineering, Electronics, Metrology and measurement technique, Nanotechnologies and microsystems, Applied mathematics, Applied physics, Computing science and informatics, Telecommunications, Theoretical electrical engineering and Control systems.

A person who has completed undergraduate and masters academic studies with at least 300 ECTS credits in total at the Faculty of Electronic Engineering or related faculties that implement accredited study programs and an overall average grade of at least 8.00 in undergraduate and master academic studies can be enrolled in the first year of doctoral academic studies.

A person who has completed appropriate undergraduate studies for acquiring the VII-1 level of vocational qualification according to the rules that were in force until the entry into force of the Law on Higher Education ("Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia", No. 76/05), which, in accordance with the law, are valued at least 300 ECTS credits and an overall average grade of at least 8.00 can be enrolled in the first year of doctoral academic studies;

A foreign citizen can be enrolled in doctoral academic studies under the same conditions as a citizen of the Republic of Serbia, i.e. under the conditions prescribed by law, University acts and acts of the Faculty.

Candidates who have an overall average grade during their academic studies below 8.00 can also be enrolled in doctoral academic studies, if they meet the requirements stipulated in the Regulations on Doctoral Academic Studies of the Faculty.

The ranking of candidates who have been approved for enrollment is based on their success (general average grade) in undergraduate and master academic studies and other criteria established by the Regulations on Enrollment of Students in Study Programs of the University of Niš ("Gazette of the University of Niš", number 1/19 and number 4/25) and the Regulations on Doctoral Academic Studies of the Faculty.

The application period for candidates is from November 03 to November 14, 2025.

For foreign students, the annual tuition fee is 3,000 euros for studies in Serbian, or 5,000 euros for studies in English.
