  • Prof. Dr. Vladimir Ćirić is a full professor at the Department of Computer Science at the Faculty of Electronics, University of Niš. He completed his primary and secondary education in Pirot, and continued his studies at the Faculty of Electronics in Niš, where he graduated in 2001, obtained his master's degree in 2005, and earned his PhD in 2011 in the field of Computer Engineering. He teaches courses in Algorithms and Programming, Computer Network Design, Cloud Computing, and Computer Network Security. Since 2006, he has also been engaged as an instructor at the Cisco Academy at the Faculty of Electronics in Niš. He received the "Excellence Award" from Cisco in 2015, placing him among the top 10% of network technology instructors in the world. During his time at the faculty, he participated in several national and international research projects. He was a member of the board of the COST action IC1305 "Network for Sustainable Ultrascale Computing (NESUS)." He served as the director of the Technology Transfer Center at the University of Niš from 2013 to 2016. He is currently the deputy chairman of the Council of the Faculty of Electronics. He is the founder and head of the Laboratory for Advanced Security Systems at the Faculty of Electronics in Niš. His research areas include parallel and distributed computing systems, computer networks and security, high-reliability systems, and algorithms and architectures for fast computing. He is the author of several textbooks and a monograph. He is the author and co-author of numerous papers published in journals and at national and international conferences. He is also the author of several technical solutions and one patent.
