Laboratory for Antennas and Propagation

About

    Laboratory for Antennas and Propagation is primarily designed to perform scientific research activities in the field of antennas, propagation and EMC/EMI in microwave frequency range. Accordingly, under this lab activities related to the implementation of ongoing research projects are implemented. In addition, the laboratory is used for teaching and laboratory exercises for following courses: Antennas and propagation, Antennas and antenna systems, Adaptive antennas and MIMO systems, Wireless communication systems, Electromagnetic compatibility, Wireless Internet access. For the purposes of scientific researches as well as for teaching, the laboratory has the appropriate measuring equipment: scalar network analyzer (10 MHz - 20 GHz), signal analyzer (10 Hz – 26.5 GHz) microwave signal generator (10 MHz - 20 GHz), EM filed meter (100 kHz - 3 GHz), the referent and test antennas (dipole, monopole, Yagi-Uda, horn, log-periodical, Gregorian, printed antennas), a system for antenna positioning and more, etc. In addition, the laboratory has several computers with installed modern software package for 3D EM modeling and simulation of antennas and antenna systems - WIPL-D
