Engineer of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science for Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies

 

At the study program of undergraduate professional studies Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies, students acquire the title Engineers of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. They have specific skills and competencies as well as practical knowledge, which enable them to be included in industrial processes of different levels. Subjects are taught during one semester and are arranged into six semesters (three years).

Syllabi of the subjects are adapted to the requests of modern economy and technical engineering. First three semesters offer general knowledge in the field of engineering and gives foundation for improvement in a wide spectrum of interests and needs of the economy and society. Many elected subjects in other three semesters provide knowledge necessary for certain fields, such as: computer science and informatics, multimedia systems, industrial control systems, industrial electrical power engineering, telecommunication systems and technologies and applied electronics.

Beside general goals of the tertiary education and technical education of Engineers of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies, the goals of professional studies are aimed at education of students to independently perform particular jobs in industry. Students acquire knowledge from general education, professional and applied fields. Students gain knowledge which is adequate for inclusion at higher levels of education. Students are qualified to perform particular professional tasks of maintenance, testing, constructing, and design of lower levels of complexity. They are also taught production techniques within the fields of the study program and the efficient use of literature and internet technologies.
